Why I wrote it

Not a guidebook. A pause.

We often spend our lives chasing something — success, clarity, a sense of purpose. But maybe what we need most is to slow down and ask where we are right now.

I wrote Just Here at twenty-four, in the middle of a pharmacy degree, a research career, and the first months of building a company. It is not a self-help manual and it does not pretend to have the answers. It is a quiet exploration of the kind of questions that keep us up at night, and the thoughts that come when we finally sit with them.

Whether you are facing change, doubt, or just feel like the world is moving too fast, this book offers a pause — a space to think, breathe, and maybe see things a little differently.

Inside

Four things it keeps returning to

01

Mindset

How the story you tell yourself sets the ceiling on what you attempt — and how to notice when that story stopped being true.

02

Fear

The difference between the fear that protects you and the fear that just keeps you still.

03

Burnout

What happens when effort stops compounding, and why rest is a strategy rather than a reward.

04

Growth

Why progress rarely feels like progress while it is happening, and how to keep going without proof.
